The campus
Qingdao university is only a decade old. The campus is new and clean. It is situated between Fushan mountain and the sea, near the city center. The foreign students are mostly Koreans and Japaneses, but there are also Russians, Europeans, Americans... Besides Chinese, you will have the opportunity to practice a lot of foreign languages.
Regular Courses
- A year from September to mid-July.
- A semester from September to mid-January or from March to mid-July.
Fees
- The application fee is 400￥.
- The tuition fee is 7000￥ by semester (14000￥ for a year).
- You must add about 200￥ for the books.
Summer Courses
- 4 weeks, between July and August
Fees
- The application fee is 100￥.
- The tuition fee is 2400￥.
- You must add about 100￥ for the books.
Accommodations
There are three student dormitories, two of them brand new. In each room you find a small bathroom, a heater, air conditioning and a television. The new dormitories are more expensive, so if you really need the cheap one, make a reservation early.
Price
If you stay the whole year, the price is more or less 50￥ every day for a single room, 30￥ if you share the room with another student.

If you stay less than 3 months, there is a fixed price of 70￥ (single) or 50￥ (double) a day. If you stay less than one month it's 100￥ a day.
The prices may slightly change.
Meals
It's about 25￥ by day if you eat at the university's restaurants.
